Lesson Introduction
If you personally provide professional services, LinkedIn® lets you add a Services section to your profile and create a profile-managed Service Page. This gives prospective clients a dedicated place to understand what you offer and contact you about a potential project.
Use this route when the services should be associated with you personally. If services belong to an organization and need to be managed by Page admins, LinkedIn® also supports Company Page-managed services for eligible companies.

2. How To Set It Up
2.1 About
Use the About description to explain the services you provide, the clients or situations they are relevant to, and useful evidence of your experience. Keep it specific rather than filling the space with generic claims.
2.2 Work Location
Set the work location accurately and indicate whether you are available for remote work where appropriate.

You have two choices:
- Show an estimated starting hourly rate
- Contact for pricing
2.4 Client Requests
Tick the box to allow LinkedIn® Members that you’re not connected with to message you for free.

Choose the service types that accurately describe work you genuinely offer. The reference below is generated from the Leaders Social LinkedIn® Services dataset, so you can use it to explore the current category structure before editing your Service Page.
LinkedIn® can change its service taxonomy, so when you make changes to your profile, confirm your final selections against the options available in the live Add services selector.
Some services appear in more than one category. That is useful context when deciding how LinkedIn® classifies the work you do, but your priority should be selecting the services that most clearly describe what a prospective client can actually hire you for.
LinkedIn® Premium Notes
When clients send a request for a proposal On LinkedIn®, they can choose to send their request to additional similar providers (you) at the same time. If you have a Premium Business, Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite subscription, you may be eligible to turn on your Get more service requests setting to be eligible to receive these additional requests. This creates an additional opportunity to receive relevant requests; it does not guarantee requests or new clients.
You can respond to requests that you receive from your Service Page admin view. If the client’s request has already received 10 responses, you won’t be able to respond to the request. Requests are matched with providers if the Services provided section of your Service Page matches the service that the project requires. The provider and client must also have the same language and location (if applicable).
Who can use this feature?
LinkedIn® currently makes additional Service Page features and request opportunities available to eligible Premium Business, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite subscribers. LinkedIn® are gradually rolling out the Get more service requests setting available, and you might not have access to it at this time.
