Company Page follower growth is rarely the result of one trick. It usually comes from repeatedly giving the right people reasons to discover, recognize and return to the organization.
Make the Page worth following
Audience growth starts with content and participation. If the Page publishes only internal announcements and promotional messages, increasing its exposure may simply show more people something they do not want to follow.
Build several routes into the Page
Useful content, search visibility, Page participation, employee activity, invitations and the organization’s existing channels can all create discovery. The strongest growth system does not depend on one mechanism continuing to work forever.
Match each route to a priority audience
Do not use every growth tactic on everybody. Decide which route is most likely to reach each priority follower group you defined in the previous lesson. A prospective employee, specialist buyer and existing customer may discover the Page in very different ways.
Use LinkedIn features deliberately
LinkedIn provides invitation tools for eligible Page admins, with additional audience-growth options available to eligible Premium Company Pages. These features can accelerate discovery, but they do not replace the need for a Page worth following.
LinkedIn Premium Notes
Premium provides additional audience-growth options. These can extend how you invite relevant people to follow the Page, but they do not remove the need to decide who you actually want as followers.
Measure audience quality as you grow
Review follower demographics and content response periodically. Growth that steadily moves away from your intended audience may look impressive while making the Page less strategically useful.
Your task
Choose three audience-growth routes you can sustain for the next eight weeks. Match each route to one of your priority follower groups and record how you will judge whether the resulting growth is relevant. The next two lessons examine invitations and promotion outside LinkedIn in more detail.
