Audience-growth features are among the most visible reasons to consider a Premium Company Page. They should still be judged by whether they help the Page reach the right people.
Understand the current growth options
LinkedIn® currently gives eligible Premium Company Pages additional invitation routes for Page super admins. These include automatically inviting eligible members who engage with Page content and inviting members who follow similar Pages. Premium can also provide a higher monthly invitation-credit allowance as LinkedIn changes the allowances available to free and Premium Pages.
Treat these as current capabilities rather than permanent entitlements. Check what is available to your Page before building a process around them.
Know the difference between the invitation routes
Automatic invitations can currently reach eligible members who publicly reacted to, commented on or shared Page content within the previous 30 days; Page mentions in posts by Page admins can also qualify. These automatic invitations do not currently use Page invitation credits. Invitations to followers of similar Pages do use the shared Page credit balance. That makes them different tools with different management implications.
Growth quality still matters
A larger follower count is useful only when the additional audience has some relationship to the organization’s objectives. Return to the priority follower groups you defined earlier in this course.
Premium should strengthen an existing system
Audience-growth tools work best when visitors arrive at a Page with clear positioning and useful content. Increasing discovery before fixing the Page can simply expose more people to a weak proposition.
Measure incremental value
LinkedIn currently reports followers gained through automatic invitations in follower analytics. Use available attribution where it exists, then judge the resulting audience by relevance as well as volume.
Your task
Choose one Premium audience-growth capability currently available to your Page and define a short test. Record the audience you want to attract, the baseline before the test and the evidence that would justify keeping the feature in your management routine.
