LinkedIn® Company Page Management - LinkedIn® Company Page Verification: What It Is and How to Prepare

LinkedIn® Page verification is intended to signal that a Page represents the official organization. It is useful as a trust signal, but it is not an endorsement of the organization or a guarantee that everything published on the Page is accurate.

Verification is not available to every Page

LinkedIn is gradually expanding Page verification. Eligibility and the verification route presented to an organization can change, so start with the Verification controls available to the Page rather than following an old checklist from another company.

Prepare the Page before chasing the badge

Keep the organization’s website, location and other core Page information accurate, maintain active administration and make sure the Page genuinely represents the organization. LinkedIn can use these factors when assessing Page verification.

Follow the route LinkedIn presents

Eligible Page super admins can request Page verification from Settings → Verification controls on desktop when LinkedIn makes the option available. The current documented process includes proving ownership of the organization’s website, followed by LinkedIn’s review. Eligibility can depend on signals including meaningful LinkedIn activity or an established commercial relationship with LinkedIn. Availability is controlled by LinkedIn and can change.

Verification can support employee trust signals

Once a Page is verified, LinkedIn can allow the organization to manage approved email domains that employees may use for workplace verification. That connects Page stewardship with the credibility signals available to employees.

Do not optimize purely to obtain a badge

A complete, active, accurately managed Page is worthwhile whether verification is immediately available or not. Treat verification as a useful result of good Page stewardship, not as the sole reason to maintain the Page properly.

Your task

Open your Page settings on desktop and check the current Verification controls. Record which route, if any, LinkedIn offers your Page. Then verify that the website, locations and organization information are accurate and identify anything you should fix regardless of current eligibility.
